Is Hemp derived CBD Legal?
The 2018 Farm Bill made hemp legal in the United States. It allows for the broad cultivation of hemp and explicitly allows the transfer of hemp-derived products across state lines for commercial or other purposes. It puts no restriction on the sale, transport, or possession of hemp-derived products, as long as those items are produced in a manner consistent with the law.
How much should my patients take?
Taking too little or too much CBD can be ineffective.
Is your product THC FREE?
Currently, there is no way to create a 100% THC free product. Most labs check down to 0.1% (1000 ppm), so the product they list as THC free could contain as much as 0.099% THC. While most would not have a positive drug test while taking this product, the risk is still there, so we will not label any of our products as THC free.
What do I do if I fail a drug screen?
Some drug screens may show a false positive by confusing other cannabinoids with THC. If you get a positive result on a urine or saliva drug screen, ask for a more specific confirmation test, such as a blood test or a hair test. These are more expensive tests, but they are much more accurate. If using our isolate, these will show a true negative almost 100% of the time. If you are using a full-spectrum product with small amounts of THC, these tests will either show a 100% true negative or a small level of THC. This quantification of THC will help differentiate between use of a hemp product vs use of a marijuana product.
